2.4 MANAGEMENT CONNECTION

Default IP Address - 192.168.4.4

Connect a second network cable to the management port (labelled CONTROL 2) on the RX8200 unit and connect

this cable to the clients network. The IP address for this port can be set from the front panel of the receiver. It is

through this interface that the RX8200 Browser page can be accessed for editing and configuring all receiver

management functions.

Alternatively, connect the management output from the RX8200 to the 2

NIC on a WNE PC or Dell Server for

local configuration as outlined graphically in Figures 7 and 8 later in this document.
