EDACS CONVENTIONAL P1 SCAN

This feature permits the radio user to scan a pre-pro-

grammed conventional system and channel as a Priority

1 (P1) channel while the radio is selected for EDACS

trunked system. If activity is detected on the conventional

P1 channel, the radio will unmute and remain on this

conventional channel for the programmable hang time.

The radio must be pre-programmed to designate a

key for P1 scan on/off operation.

The menu function accesses features that are not

available directly from the keypad. The order and actual

menu items available is configurable through program-

ming. Upon radio power up, the menu item that is at the

top of the menu list will always be displayed first. Sub-

sequent access to the menu function will return the last

menu item that was shown in the display and cursor

position. To enter the menu mode, press
